Put your product inside ChatGPT
ChatGPT now gives plugins their own home in the sidebar, with interactive panels people work in while they chat. We build yours end to end: the plugin, the backend it talks to, secure sign-in to your own data, and the submission to OpenAI's plugin directory. You own every account and every line of code.
Done is defined in writing before we start. You own the code and the accounts.
Your customers already work in ChatGPT. Your product does not.
When the work happens in a chat window, every product that is not in that window has to be remembered, opened, and logged into. Most of the time, it is not.
Every switch out of ChatGPT is a chance to lose them
People who live in ChatGPT all day will use the tool that is already there. If that is not yours, it is someone else's.
The directory is a new storefront
OpenAI ranks and recommends plugins inside its directory and inside conversations. A listing that is not there cannot be found there.
A plugin is only as good as what it connects to
The panel is the easy part. The server behind it, safe access to your customers' data, and getting through review are where a plugin launch stalls.
A plugin your customers open, not one they forget
Each build ships the whole path from ChatGPT to your data and back.
A panel in the ChatGPT sidebar
Your customers work with your product next to the conversation, with the views and file types your product actually uses.
Sign-in that respects permissions
Users connect their own account and approve each access request, so ChatGPT only ever sees what that user is allowed to see.
Automations that fire on real events
When something happens in your product, ChatGPT can act on it, so the plugin does work instead of waiting to be asked.
One build, more than one assistant
The same backend also serves Claude and any other assistant that speaks the open MCP standard, so you are not rebuilding for each one.
The scoping call tells you what your plugin needs and what it costs, in writing.
Four gates, no ambiguity
Scope
We map which jobs your customers would do inside ChatGPT, what data the plugin needs, and how users sign in. You get a fixed price and a written acceptance test list.
Build
The plugin, its backend, and the sign-in flow, built in accounts you own. Anything outside the signed scope is a written change order.
Prove
We run every acceptance test with you inside ChatGPT on a recorded call. The balance is due when every test passes.
Submit
We prepare the listing and submit it to OpenAI's plugin directory, then work through any review feedback with you.
What you never have to do
- Learn a new platform's developer rules the week it launches
- Build and host the server a plugin depends on
- Work out how to let ChatGPT into your customers' data safely
- Decode directory review feedback on your own
- Rebuild the whole thing for the next assistant
Built for products people already use
This is for you if
- You run a software product, data service, or content library with real users
- Your customers already spend part of their day in ChatGPT
- You can give us API or database access and a point person during the build
- You want a fixed price and a written definition of done
This is not for you if
- You want a guaranteed directory placement or a guaranteed number of installs
- There is no product or data behind the idea yet
- You only need a custom GPT, which you can make yourself for free
- You want a vendor to own the code and the accounts
Questions founders actually ask
What is a ChatGPT plugin extension?+
It is an app that lives inside ChatGPT. OpenAI announced plugin extensions at DevDay in September 2026: plugins get a home in the ChatGPT sidebar, can show interactive panels and file viewers, and can run automations when something happens in a connected app. Users approve each access request individually.
Can't I just use OpenAI's free Plugin Creator?+
For a simple plugin, try it first. You need a builder when the plugin has to call your own backend, sign users in to their own data, handle permissions properly, and pass directory review. That is the part we build.
How much does it cost?+
It depends on how many systems the plugin touches and how users sign in, so the price is set on the scoping call and written down before any work starts. You approve one number, not an hourly meter.
Do you guarantee approval in the directory?+
No. Approval and ranking are OpenAI's decisions, and anyone who promises them is guessing. We guarantee the definition of done: the plugin passes every acceptance test you signed, and we prepare and submit the listing and work through review feedback with you.
Does it work with Claude too?+
The backend we build follows MCP, the open standard both ChatGPT and Claude connect to. Listing in each directory is a separate submission, and we scope each one you want.
Who owns the plugin?+
You do. The code, the hosting account, the OpenAI developer account, and every API key are registered to your business. If we part ways, everything keeps running.
How fast can we launch?+
The scoping call sets the timeline in writing. The clock pauses only while access or approvals wait on your side, and directory review time sits with OpenAI.
